Chatr Case Study

PROBLEM

For its summer campaign, Chatr aimed to raise awareness, encourage participation, and increase sales by highlighting the benefits of its exclusive summer offerings. However it wasn't able to speak to these audiences and generate enough foot traffic in its stores let alone sales. So for the coming Winter major changes were needed.

challenges & objectives

For Facebook, Chatr and Dezino developed a number of mobile-first advertisements. Different ad sets were developed to appeal to the various target audiences, including current customers, non-customers, and residents of a certain geographic region.

Eye-catching advertisements in several formats, such as video, photo, carousel, and Stories, were part of the campaign. Ads emphasising the advantages of signing up for Vodafone were displayed to non-customers, while promotions for new services were displayed to current customers. Every advertisement prompted viewers to visit the Chatr website to learn more or sign up for the promotion.

Chatr was able to distribute our various offers to current and potential consumers throughout Ontario by fusing its own customer data with Facebook's subscriber-centric targeting tools. Chatr also sponsored a smaller campaign targeted at residents of Mississauga, Brampton, Scarborough, and Markham in order to increase its subscriber numbers in the key Canada cities.

We helped create a new website and also created strategic Facebook Ad Campaigns for them with a budget of $1500 per month. With video and image advertisements on Facebook that were designed to appeal to various populations, the 9 locations of Chatr we partnered up with, increased sales revenue by 30% over winter.

solution / how we helped

Adults all around Canada become more aware of Chatr's summer offers thanks to its entertaining video advertisements. Between June 22 and August 1, 2022, according to a brand lift analysis, the campaign accomplished:

  • Increase in typical ad recall of 8.2 points

  • Increase of 2.4 points in message association.

RESULTS AFTER DEZINO

With video and image advertisements on Facebook that were designed to appeal to various populations, the Canadian division of the telecom giant increased ad recall by 8.2 points.. Wireless Chatr was able to successfully achieve pick up its foot traffic ans sales for Winter and beyond by working with Dezino. Thanks to Dezino's help with Web Development and Facebook Ads and Graphic Designs during the month Chatr was able to grow from 9 locations in 2020 to 19 by the end of 2022​

Dezino helped us get a ton of foot traffic and sales in our store. Thanks to the returns we've been getting we've been able to expand our network and double its size in just 2 years.
